About Me

Hello!! Are you looking for a talented and friendly English teacher? My name is Seth, and I am from New York City. Since I earned my CELTA in 2009, I have been working as an ESL teacher and have experience teaching both at university and online. I teach general and business English, as well as TOEFL and IELTS exam tutoring, pronunciation coaching, conversation practice and interview or presentation preparation.

I am experienced working with students at all levels, and of all ages and backgrounds. Also, I am currently studying to improve my Spanish (B2/C1) and am beginning to learn Portuguese (A1) as well, so I do understand the difficulties and frustrations of learning a new language and also finding the time in a busy schedule to study. I am confident in my ability, and certain that you will benefit from my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm.

I have a deep love for languages and teaching, and will model our classes to fit your preferences and requirements. Aiding students gain mastery over the English language and confidence in its use is very satisfying, and I am proud of my track record of successfully helping students accomplish their English language learning goals.
